I’m a caring, thoughtful person who’s ready to help – with a listening ear and a friendly, chatty nature. A friend recommended Sparrow to me because of the positive support they offer to carers, and I was looking for work that fits around my family commitments.

I came to care work through looking after my own mum for 10 years and my aunt for 4 years. That experience taught me what really matters when someone needs support – patience, kindness, and treating people with dignity.

I’ve been caring with Sparrow since June 2024, and I love building relationships with the people I work with. Families have described me as honest, hardworking, and always cheerful. I’m reliably punctual and believe good communication is essential – keeping families informed and making sure everyone knows what’s happening.
