Before joining Sparrow, I had a long career in Financial Services. Alongside that, I helped care for my dad who suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease.
I initially became involved with Sparrow as a client when looking for additional care support for my dad. I loved the idea of Sparrow, and the carers they put me in touch with provided excellent care for him. Seeing that quality of support first-hand inspired me to become a carer myself.
Joining Sparrow as a self-employed carer was the best decision I’ve ever made – it’s the most rewarding job I’ve had. My personal experience caring for my dad means I understand what families go through, and I particularly enjoy providing care for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
I’m a farmer’s daughter who loves the countryside and being outdoors. I bring patience, understanding, and genuine compassion to my work, and I’m committed to helping people maintain their independence and dignity at home.
