Hi, I’m recently retired from the NHS after 37 years working as a qualified nurse. My last role was as a District Nurse, which gave me lots of experience working in the community. I also care for my elderly parents who have frailty and dementia, so I understand what families go through from both a professional and personal perspective.
I view myself as friendly, reliable and professional. I enjoy keeping fit, current affairs, and dog walking.
I’m able to offer personal care and re-enabling support. After years in District Nursing, I know how important it is to help people maintain their independence at home for as long as possible. My clinical background means I’m comfortable with medication management, wound care, and supporting people with complex health needs.
I’m happy to work mornings and later evenings, and I’m looking forward to having more time to build meaningful relationships with the people I care for.
