I’m a compassionate individual who cares about the wellbeing of others and wants to support the community in Northumberland. I have 8 years of experience in healthcare, working my way up from carer to Registered Manager before choosing to become self-employed.
For years, people advised me to become an independent carer, but I was cautious – taking that leap of faith was daunting. What helped me make the decision was the wealth of knowledge I’d gained both as a carer and as a manager, plus my qualifications (Level 2 and Level 5 Diplomas in Care).
I’ve always found it easy to connect with people. I’m empathetic, respectful, patient and practical – qualities that help me provide care that’s tailored to each person’s needs.
I’ve worked with both male and female clients and am happy to support with whatever your needs may be, whether that’s personal care, companionship, or practical help around the home.
