1. I first met Sara when I was a carer around twenty years ago. I gave up working as a professional carer to devote full time care to my parents. I approached Sara for help. I always found her to be honest, kind and caring. She is trustworthy and reliable. A great listener who made those she cared for feel they mattered. She has empathy, is supportive, engaging and of a cheery disposition. Her support during that trying time was invaluable.
I eventually moved on and became coordinator of a local carers support group. If any member needed extra help caring for their loved one, I would have had no hesitation in referring them to Sara.
Due to ill health, I had to retire. Following major surgery, I was fortunate to have Sara as my carer so experienced her caring attributes from the other side. She also supported me in caring for my husband during his long illness. I can only sing her praises.
2. I have known Sara since September 2023 when she was employed as clinical support for the podiatry team and I was her team leader. Sara was hard working, caring and compassionate and always went the extra mile for her colleagues and the patients we supported. She was a pleasure to have in the team and was very reliable and professional. No concerns.
3. I have known Sara for six months now and find her sympathetic, kind and knowledgeable. Importantly she has a great sense of humour. I can vouch for her ability to cope in a crisis. That is how I met her!! She appears to be knowledgeable about a wide variety of disabilities and I regard her as being eminently suitable to be an independent carer.
