I’m an outgoing, sociable person. I was a high school teacher for many years and loved building relationships with my students – this is why I’ve found caring to be such a satisfying second career. I really love being self-employed and having time to spend with my clients. Many have led such interesting lives!
My Dad needed regular care for many years and it gave me a real insight into the other side of the relationship – understanding what families go through and what good care looks like.
I’m happy to provide household help, welfare checks, trips out, transport to appointments, medication support, meal preparation, and companionship. I’m a practical person and can turn my hands to most things.
My teaching background means I’m patient, organized, and good at communicating. I enjoy getting to know people properly and supporting them to maintain their independence at home.
