What challenges were you facing before you contacted Sparrow?
Finding reliable and flexible home care for my elderly mum was a daunting and stressful challenge. We didn’t really know where to start. Having had no previous experience of social care and receiving little support in our initial research, finding Sparrow Carers was a lifeline.
What did Sparrow and your carer do to help?
Being an independent woman in her 90s, Mum wanted to stay in her own home with her cats. But after several falls we needed to find the right kind of support to help her stay at home safely. Sparrow swiftly put us in touch with experienced local carers who immediately understood the situation. The transition was seamless and Mum was very happy to see them. Previously I had helped Mum each bedtime, but thanks to appropriately timed bedtime visits, her Sparrow carers took over.
