About Freddy

Hi, I'm Freddy. I'm an experienced carer having worked for 18 months with Home Instead in Newcastle before becoming a self-employed carer. I have experience all aspects of personal care and in particular people with Dementia and brain injuries.

I'm originally from New Zealand and have been in the UK for over a decade. I have lived in Wideopen, Newcastle with my wife and two kids for over two years now. I'm an artist, designer by trade and also love teaching art and design. I got into care work when I moved to Newcastle because I love spending time with elderly people, making connections, hearing their stories and offering companionship.  I find it really rewarding work and focus on getting to know the individuals I care for, making connections and offering them the personalised support that they need.
